Midlife Leap Online Course by Jett Psaris – Stage 7: The Birth of a Unified Field
Like pupae en route to becoming butterflies, in this chapter we wiggle out of the hard hard casing of our egos and emerge as more fluid and flexible beings with a direct experience of belonging to a world larger than we knew when we were ego fixated. We learn to focus on the immediacy of our experience rather than being swept away by emotions or thoughts or slipping back into the patterns and habits of our past ego identities. A unified field is being born in which all of parts of us become available to respond in the present moment, free of the endless stream of ego-created “shoulds” that dominated the first half of our adult lives. As the full range of who we are becomes available to respond in any situation, we become less attached to any particular identity.
“The capacity to completely shatter our held notions and world views at any moment opens us up to the infinite perspectives and options available in any given situation.”
“A fluid sense of self is capable of responding appropriately to the circumstances of a given moment without being fixated, reactive, or needing something to be other than the way it is.”
“The degree to which we are free from the constraints of our conditioning is directly proportional to the degree to which we can be fully available for what is required in any given moment.”
